Massive!
Lancashire Constabulary is your police force in Lancashire. We cover over 256 miles of motorway, 124 miles of coastline and a massive 2,000 square miles of land including major towns and cities like Preston, Blackpool, Lancaster, Blackburn and Burnley.
Over 3,500 police officers, 368 special constables and nearly 1,900 non-police staff (supported by 579 volunteers) work to keep Lancashire a safer place for the 1.5 million people who live and work here.

Who said you can’t aim high?!
Our ambition is to be the ‘best police service in the country’, which means we always make sure we do our very best in making Lancashire a safer place to live and work. In October 2007, for the third year running, we were named as one of the ‘top’ police forces in the country!
That’s not to say we’re smug, we’re always looking at new ways to reduce crime and make you feel safer on Lancashire’s streets. We’re really keen to work with young people like you from across the county to keep Lancashire safe and LimaCharlie is your way to find out more about us and let us know what you think.
